About Us
We exist to help people get out of financial bondage. We are committed to the belief, "All people are individuals with purpose and worth." Each consumer is no less valuable because of financial difficulties than if they were wealthy. Also, creditors are people with value and worth. We provide credit counseling, budgeting, and debt liquidation programs, supported by Christian beliefs. It is our policy not only to help consumers get out of debt, but to educate them in budgeting practices.
Pioneer Credit Counseling is a trade name of Black Hills Children's Ranch, Inc., which is a bonded non-profit 501(c)(3) agency with their corporate offices in Rapid City, SD.
PCC holds current membership with the following agencies:

- United States Chamber of Commerce
- South Dakota Retailers Association
- South Dakota Non-Profit Association
We are also a registered agency through Bureau Veritas and operate a quality management system in compliance with the requirements of ISO 9001:2008, as well as a participant of the Better Business Care Program. Pioneer holds membership in the Association for Independent Consumer Credit Counseling Agencies of Fairfax, Virginia.
